Grams (g) are a unit of measurement. Often used in nutritional values for nutrients such as carbohydrate, protein and fiber.

How many grams are in an ounce?

How many grams are in carbohydrates?

How many grams are in protein?

A standard serving of lean protein meat is approximately 3 ounces, and one ounce contains approximately 7 grams. This is about the size of a deck of cards. There are 4 calories in one gram of protein, so one serving of lean protein meat contains approximately 84 calories.
