23andMe and Ancestry tell you about ancestry and a few basic traits. GenoPalate reads the genetic markers that relate specifically to nutrition and turns them into something you can act on: a personalized macro split, 300+ foods scored for your body, nutrient targets and sensitivity insights. If you already tested with them, you can upload that same data and skip buying a new kit.

How fast will I get my results?

If you upload existing DNA data from 23andMe, AncestryDNA, MyHeritage or FamilyTreeDNA, your report is typically ready in about 24 hours. If you order a collection kit, it takes 2 to 3 weeks from when your sample reaches the lab.

Do I have to follow a strict diet?
